3 Letters
I chose to design with these letters they're all unique from each other and challenged me during the process. The Rockwell slab serif “T” has thicker and more noticeable arms than the other 4 classifications of this letter. It’s cap height remains the same, however it’s X height and arms squared and thicker. The Helvetica sans serif “u” is seems more like a standard “u”. It’s similar to the lowercase Rockwell “u” but it doesn’t have any additional arms. Finally the Garamond “e” has a more sharp eye than the other 4 classifications of “e”. However the aperture of this “e” remains the same like the others. Used the T in top right corner of the framal reference, since it’s arm are so long the corners would cut off but both arms would remain present. The “u” is in the middle of framal reference seeming like it’s providing the “T” a surface to stand on. The “e” sticks out from the rest but is still adjacent to the u.

it was good I really like the letter T fount and how was the e was well drawn and you can tell the the lines were neatly drawn
ReplyDeleteThe drawing is very loyal to the model in the way how it looks. The way this drawing interacts with the frame is nice.
ReplyDeleteit looks good but just need to better the letter e
ReplyDeleteI really like how the T is balancing on the U. I also really like how all the letters all together spells out "Tue" which is the abbreviation of "Tuesday" which is how I perceive your artwork. I believe you should work on the line work and attempt to balance the black and white space.
ReplyDeleteYou could have made the letters a bit bigger other then that great work. 6.9/8
ReplyDeleteThe letters do somewhat resemble the model letters. The lines are also are clearly and neatly drawn. What I see happening in the design is the letters are going in one direction and how some of the T serif is outside of the design. The one thing I would improve is making the letter more bigger to make the design more interesting.
